MARGO

I joined Trescal Benelux at its Antwerp headquarters in August 2016, after only one year of work experience in recruiting.

Over the past three years, I have learned so much about HR (such as payroll, training and development, administration, labor law, and more), thanks to the great support of my supervisor Françoise.

I’ve had the opportunity to develop my skills in a friendly environment that almost feels like family, which was exactly what I needed in order to grow.

Now I have the autonomy to handle many daily responsibilities and prioritize them.

Trescal is a great employer if you are eager to learn. And the company values your opinion, always holding respect as a core value.

OLIVER

In 1997, Oliver began his career as a repair technician, acquiring extensive expertise in the management and operation of measuring equipment.

With the major boom in demand for calibrations, he began to focus on his career as a calibration technician. In 2005, he was appointed as Technical Manager in charge of Mechanics, obtaining accreditations for mass, torque, pressure and temperature. As the lab grew and expanded, he began to both advise and collaborate with customers, mainly in the aeronautics sector, expanding his knowledge of aeronautical standards. In 2007, he was appointed as Project Manager in charge of designing, developing and implementing what was then one of the most comprehensive web applications for customer equipment calibration management.

During all the years in MCI, he has been involved in almost all departments of the lab acquiring a strong knowledge in all areas. In 2015, his company joined Trescal. Nowadays, he is the Technical Manager of the Toledo and Sevilla branches.

PATRICE

Patrice began his career at Trescal in 2009 as a trainee in the Engineering and Maintenance business unit after graduating in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He continued as an apprentice during his professional degree year in Computer Science before being hired as a calibration technician in July 2010.

Ambitious and fully invested in his assignments, his potential was soon identified. In August 2014 he was appointed as manager of the embedded site of one of the Group’s main customers, a Cannes-based aerospace company, before being promoted to Production manager at the Toulon branch in April 2017.

In March 2019 Trescal appointed him manager of the Toulon branch.

His objectives are clear: “I want to boost the performance of the Toulon branch and train future managers, as I was trained myself.”

Fran Mañas-4

FRAN

Fran started his career at Alstom as a quality engineer in the industrial engineering department. He then became the manager of the electrical workshop.

In 2012, he joined Tecnalia, a private technology and innovation research center, as the head of the low voltage and power electronics laboratory.

Fran’s motto has always been to be the one who makes his own future. In 2017, when the country manager position for Spain was opened, he decided to apply. After an impressive two-year career, the Group appointed him as General Manager for Trescal Spain. Today he supervises 350 people working in 8 branches.

Throughout his career, Fran has sought to have a good balance between his family life and his professional responsibilities, and even if his current role is demanding, he is pleased to be able to keep this balance.

MICHAEL

Michael graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone North Carolina in 2012 with an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science.

After graduation he applied to an open tech 1 position at Calibration Solutions in Cornelius North Carolina. Upon arrival at CSI he immediately began working both in the lab and onsite at all types of customers. In 2013 he aided in the A2LA assessment that saw an expansion of capabilities added to the scope of accreditation.

During the 3-month journey tools for all areas were calibrated 6 days a week for 9 hours a day. This became a launching point for his career leading to a promotion to Lab Manager upon his return to the lab.

In 2017 an opportunity for a Program management and Indysoft role became available. Currently he is working with several programs across the US for their calibrations both onsite and resident professional positions as well as working to improve the use of Indysoft at several labs across the U.S.
